Below you find a variety of support groups that Boulder Pride, Boulder County Public Health, CU Boulder and other community organizations provide to the LGBT Community in Boulder county.

Monday Night Men's Support Group

When: Every Monday night from 7-8:30pm
Where: Boulder Pride House, 2132 14th St., Boulder
Come join our on-going, 18 and over, men's discussion group. We provide a safe, encouraging, and supportive place for gay, bi, and questioning men. All men are welcome-- whether this is your first time questioning, or you are just coming out, or you have been out for many years. Come and share your experiences, talk about what's on your mind, or just sit back and listen. Self-disclosure is optional. The environment is casual. Topics are not predetermined and vary from week to week. We hope to see you there.

OASOS Longmont Youth Group

When: Every Thursday from 4-6pm
Where: Please call for the address and directions at: 303-678-6259.
OASOS, run by Boulder County Public Health, has launched our weekly peer-based support group for questioning, queer, intersexed, pansexual, transgendered, bisexual, lesbian and/or gay (QQIPTBLG) youth between the ages of 13-20 in the Longmont area. The group is FREE and CONFIDENTIAL and meets every Thursday from 4:00-6:00pm. This is a drop-in group, so no commitment is required. Facilitators and youth work together to create a space that is welcoming, affirming, and safe for all GLBTQQI youth. Bus tokens can be provided to assist youth in attending group.

 

 

Boulder Pride Women's Support Group

LGBTI Buddist Practice/Discussion Group

When: Sundays 4:30-6:30pm
Where: Great Mountain Zen Center, 1110 Sparta Dr. Lafayette, CO 80026
Cost: Free, donations for the use of the Zen Center are helpful but not expected

Description: Come to share in the practice of Buddhist meditation followed by the friendly discussion of Buddhist teachings and how they relate to our lives. Those new to meditation and/or Buddhism are welcome, as are those who are experienced. The group is multi-denominational, appreciating practitioners of Zen, Shambhala, Tibetan, Theravadin, Vipassana, non-sectarian, questioning non-Buddhists, and so on. If new to meditation or looking for personalized instruction, please contact Gendo to arrange to meet before the group begins. Tea, snacks, and meditation props provided. Arrive early and allow time to find parking, as meditation will begin promptly at 4:30pm.

 

 

Rainbow Elders of Boulder County

A fun social group for older LGBTs.

When: Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 4-6 p.m.

Support Group for Individuals with Friends and Family who are Experiencing Abuse

Do you struggle with how to support friends and family experiencing abuse?

This FREE, 2 part workshop explores the dynamics of abuse and our role as friends and family of those affected by this problem. Attending this workshop is the first step in understanding how you can help.
